Below
is the information regarding this year's ACM Annual High School Programming
Contest
This year the contest will be held on Saturday, November 18,
2006.
A team may consist of three 9th through 12th grade students.
Each school may register only one team because space is limited.
If space for
additional teams becomes available, teams will be allowed to
register an additional team after the initial deadline, Wednesday, October
18, 2005. Each team will receive the same questions and have three
hours to complete the problems. There
is a $40.00 registration fee per team. Checks can be made out to Stetson University. Click here to Download the Registration Form.
We
will have the following programming environments
available: Microsoft's
Visual Studio .NET, BlueJ, JCreator (Java2 SE1.5), and Eclipse (Java2 SE1.5) [Click here for sample problems]. The teams will be provided with an IBM compatible (Dell) Pentium 4
Windows XP computer. Lunch will be provided for all contest participants and team
coaches. Official rules and
other information will be mailed to you when we receive your entry form.
Registration will begin at 8:00 am, and the event is scheduled to
begin at 8:30 am.

DIRECTIONS TO
STETSON UNIVERSITY |
| From
Orlando: Take I-4 east to exit #114, State Road 472.
Travel west approximately 3 miles to an exit ramp, go north on
17-92 (Woodland Blvd.). Travel
through downtown DeLand (5 miles) to campus.
Turn right on Michigan Ave. and make an immediate right into the
parking lot behind the Lynn Business Center (Large Bank like building).

Daytona Beach: Take International Speedway Blvd. (US 92) to Woodland Blvd.
At the intersection of Woodland Blvd. and US 92, take a left onto
Woodland Blvd. and travel south for one mile.
Turn left onto Michigan Ave. and make an immediate right into the
parking lot behind the Lynn Business Center(Large Bank like building).

I-75 (in Ocala): Take Ocala Exit 69/State Road 40 East to US Highway 17 in
Barberville (approximately 45 miles).
Turn right (south) onto Highway 17 and travel 14 miles to the
Stetson University campus. Turn left onto Michigan Ave. and make an
immediate right into the parking lot behind the Lynn Business Center (Large Bank like building).

Jacksonville: Take I-95 South to Route 92 (Exit 261) then go west
approximately 20 miles. At
the intersection of 17-92, turn left.
Campus is 1.5 miles. Turn
left onto Michigan Ave. and make an immediate right into the parking lot
behind the Lynn Business Center (Large Bank like building). |
